Gorgeous wheel. I've been pondering a wooly winder now that I've started spinning a little again. Love the video - reminded me of my father's old collie who could manipulate the latch on a dog crate and free the puppy!

Oh NICE. Good montage. I don't think it is too greedy on the Woolee Winder. I've been trying to figure out how to get one on my Golding.

love that kitty! what a clever one he is, opening the bin - no wool would be safe in my home if my kitties could do that!

Hi,

I just ran across your blog and really appreciate you posting the Ashley set up pictures. I'm a relatively new spinner, I learned on an Ashford traveller (I bought it because I wanted to try out spinning first and turns out that I really enjoy it) and I'm feeling ready to step it up and get a bigger wheel. I'm looking for a wheel that will be a go to wheel for almost everything from heavy worsted to fingering (maybe lace). I've looked at the Tina II and was also considering the D-30 (as it is a bigger wheel and more beautiful) and then I could get a lendrum or a hansen mini-spinner if I need a travel wheel in the future. Anyway, what I wanted to ask you is the following: Which wheel do you think would be best for what I'm looking for (meaning a one wheel for all)? What's your experience with running the Jensens in scotch tension (I heard it really only works well in double drive and not well on scotch tension, is that true? )
I would really appreciate your answer.
My name on ravelry is Plinio if you prefer to PM on there. Thanks

Very useful information, but the first words in each definition are difficult to read. On my computer this font displays as a very bright, light green. Otherwise the site is excellent. Well done.
