i'm a bohussey

here's the hat almost finished.

it's finished now, just waiting to be blocked.

i had to use an addi 000 needle to get gauge. yikes!

now on to the scarf, the seed stitch border has begun. knitting the scarf of inox dpns 00, as the scarf gauge is slightly larger.

if anyone knows where i can get my hands on a 00 prym (or any other brand) circular needle, please let me know!

unfortunately, the chart is not in the bag, i must have left it in fort lauderdale yesterday :-(
neena and veena are getting a tiny bit easier, i can do the snake arms now :-)

If you find a source for a 00 circ, would you let me know? I'm also looking, because I've got a project there's no way I'm doing on dpns, and I'm presently choosing between the 000 Addi circs and the 0. I've tried searching for 1.75mm, but only find dpns.

I HATE it when I have to go below 0 to get gauge, but I love all the references to your bohussey-ness!

That hat is wonderful.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Anything smaller than a 1 tends to rip my hands up, so I'm saved. I get to remain a bohussy virgin.

Is a Bohussy something you wear when you are belly dancing? I decided I better wait until my nephew leaves before I buy those tapes..LOL

Is that the blue shimmer, Vanessa? Absolutely beautiful! So when does the full sweater commence? :-)

Hi V.
maybe try some of the Canadian vendors? I bought a bunch of skinny Pym dpns a while ago and I know they're from a Canadian vendor, just don't remember which one. or some of the UK sites. if you search "prym aero knitting" you'll find some leads.

wish I could help better,
Linda M.

Size 00 circs? Wow. Have you tried www.lacis.com?
I think they have 1.5mm circs.

Oh you bohussy with your sirens call!! Blue shimmer is pure beauty!

Bet those snake arms are a great help for an endurance knitter like you :) Sounds like a lot more fun than aerobics! DH probably thinks so too ;-)

i can see by my drooling that i am going to have to tackle a bohus soon; i've had the book for years and looked at it many times, but lately . . . lately i am feeling more than a tug.
