Lovely. I'd say she WAS a genius, she hasn't done much lately. And too bad she's insane. But other than that.....

Man...it seems like only yesterday (OR like a couple of years ago) when you had the bee in your bonnet about wanting yarn that looked like Mother of Pearl. I think that you got it, Miss Thang. No matter what...that colorway will always be meant for that yarn and you got what you wanted...the vision was perfect. Congratulations on the sweater and the perfect knitting and perfect fit. I bet that it will be a favorite garment, even down there in FL.

Lovely! That's a pattern I've always wanted to make, and I think it just jumped up a couple notches in the queue. Beautiful color, too. It's perfect for the shell motif.

Vanessa, your CAPE COD is lovely so I'm not surprised you are in love with it. It's nice to see it on a 'real' person instead of just in the Fishermen book and it looks like a perfect fit! Great job!

Great job, Vannessa! Did you find that when you wet blocked it, the yarn stretched at all? I knit Cape Cod from Elspeth Lavold's Silky Wool, which is also a DK weight 50/50 silk wool yarn and it stretched TERRIBLY! The sweater is now perfect for an orangatang!

I love the color. I will check out the Petal. I had thought about using it and then it didn't pan out for me. The sweater looks fabulous on you.

It's so gorgeous! Looks great on you.

I was just watching AS's video and she wears that one while she's doing her knit along.

I'm starting to think I need a woolly board. Where did you get yours?
